Wave (and Rotor) all around and much for our youngsters to take in as the rapidly closing gaps did provide some challenges. Full marks to the tuggies who persevered in a difficult environment.

The low cloud in the morning will break leaving some brighter spells into the afternoon but always with a risk of a light shower at any time. Given the upper wind strength and direction we are likely to see Wave set up over the area.

There was not much relief from the heavy overcast skies, just a brief glimmer of sun late in the day could do little to overcome an icy blast from the west accompanied by the odd light shower bustling through.

The last flying Sunday for some time saw a number of visitors at the club representing, Husbands Bosworth, Oxford and the Midland Gliding Clubs.

A cracking day out that defied the X-Section. The strong winds died down, the cloud cover broke up and, although it was cold, the sun shone; it did wonders for morale.
