A cold and dry start to the day with cloud increasing from the west and outbreaks of light rain and drizzle developing in the late afternoon. Becoming windy during the latter part of the day.

Huge congratulations to Liam Riley on being sent solo today.

A cloudy day with a slight chance of drizzle where the cloud is thicker. Light S winds all day.

A very busy day with four new folk joining us and a number of pilots either at an early solo stage or in training, all of whom needed to get in some flying.

Bright or sunny spells at first then cloud moving from the West during the morning. Sunnier skies arriving later in the day

Today we achieved not one but two solos so well done to Andy Hagan and to Michael Harrison.

Dry start with some sunny spells and showers passes through during the afternoon which might be heavy at times. Winds easing and feeling less cold.

The weather intervened to turn a flying day into a much needed club admin day

Slow to clear mist and fog through the morning with poor viz. Most places will remain grey with a low cloud base throughout the whole day.

A largely cloudy day with the odd pocket of drizzle in the morning. Some brightness is possible, particularly during the afternoon.

A belter of a NNW wind lingered longer than expected and that meant we didn’t get out on to the airfield until around 12:00 for a very short flying day.

Brisk NNW wind will make temperatures feel like 0°C all day; wrap up warm and be prepared for an occasional wintry shower. May see Wave over the airfield.
