For the crowd of 55,000 Ian provided another cracking display at the 2023 RAF Cosford Air Show.

It was a full house that made the most of the conditions today with some great aerobatics, 33 launches and over 21 hours flying time.

A better day than the forecast suggested but making the most of the conditions proved difficult, some strong thermic activity accompanied by some equally strong sink challenged some.

FLYING REPORT 29 APR 23
Rain laden skies brought an end to flying early. Whilst we managed to get in a number of launches for our younger pilots, rain was always there or thereabouts and brought and end to all but one flight late in the day.
WE’RE OFF TO FLY IN THE FRENCH ALPS
Four club members have been selected as some of the lucky participants to take part in the annual tri-service expedition, Parcours Combattants 29 Apr 23 – 14 May 23, to Sisteron in France and joining with pilots from the Royal Navy and Army.
