2023 RAF Cosford Air Show - K21 Aerobatics Display

On a hot and humid day it was an intrepid team that gathered at Shawbury H4 on Sunday to launch R22 and Ian Gallacher for the 2023 Cosford Air Show.  With the display timed for 1300, take off behind WG piloted by Alan Sawn was at 12:15.

Meanwhile over at Cosford another team were fully occupied running both the BGA simulator and also photo opportunities in R66, our single-seat Astir.  Both stands were busy all day.

After an uneventful trip over to our old stomping ground and then holding North of Cosford for their display slot, R22 released at 1307.

For the sell-out crowd of 55,000 Ian provided another cracking display accompanied by some really great relaxing mood music, an amazing contrast with the preceding Eurofighter!

At the end of the display WG landed, hooked up R22 and then returned to RAF Shawbury.

Thanks to everyone who gave up their time over the whole weekend to make such a success, our contribution to the Air Show and see you next year!
