Funding Opportunities
Whether you’re working towards going solo, embarking on your first cross-country flights or becoming an instructor, there are a number of schemes to enable you to achieve more by helping with your flying fees
Service personnel can access bursaries and awards from the likes of the Malcolm Club, through the RAFGSA, and our Mechanics’ Endowment Fund Gliding Bursaries, funded by the RAF Central Fund. Ask us at the club for more details on these schemes

There are a number of publicly available funding opportunities, mostly aimed at younger glider pilots. You can find a list of the main sources of funding on the British Gliding Association’s Junior Gliding website
