Forecast for Sun 7 Nov 21

Dry day with sunny spells and breezy throughout the day.  With the wind strength and direction from over the Welsh mountains we are likely to see Wave set up over the airfield from early on. Maximum temperature 12°C but with the wind chill factor it will feel more like 6°C. The on-the-day X-Section that provides a more up-to-date guide for SHY will be published on the closed Messenger Ops Gp tomorrow morning.

The wind direction and strength is likely to set up Wave conditions over Shawbury for most of the day. Given tomorrow’s pressure forecast 850MB represents approx 5,000ft but we are likely to see Wave as low as 2,000 ft.
