CLUB AUTUMN EXPED DENBIGH – MONDAY AND TUESDAY

The best of the weather on the two days was enjoyed on Monday allowing Alan in ESS to take a long trip down to the Llŷn Peninsula via the N Wales Coast, and in the company of Chris Gill in Denbigh’s Arcus M.

Alan’s out-and back flight took him via the N Wales Coast, Bethesda, and Llanberis to Nefyn.

The route presented the various photo opportunities below, with Alan and Chis taking turns to lead and follow.

On the return leg over Trwyn Gorlec, ESS is passed by Mike O and Rod Witter in his Arcus enroute to the first TP at Morfa Nefyn.

Meanwhile, FCV (Ian G), 243 (the old pensioners) and 494 (Nigel) stayed local.

A flat day on Tuesday provided the perfect conditions to get in check flights for Sophie and John Luke before they were both sent solo.

Later in the day both took a trip in the club Astir R66 on to the ridge.

After such a busy day it all got a bit too much for some and there could only be one conclusion!
