Flying Report Sat 22 May 21

A succession of heavy showers funnelled thought the Cheshire Gap were a constant interruption to what had earlier promised to be a good day.

Whilst the rest of us were towing out the aircraft Will Dean kicked they day off early with some BI training in the K13 under the watchful eye of Allan Jolly.  Afterwards Will’s only comment was that there was nothing to beat a bit of spin training after a hearty breakfast! Will now only requires a CFI acceptance flight to complete his training.

….we watched the hares do what hares do on an airfield!

In between the showers we managed to get everyone a flight but conditions were poor with a lot of sink seemingly, as always, centred on the airfield.

This is the 3rd successive weekend when rain had played a major part in our flying programme – bring on summer!  However, there was a bright side and we were delighted to welcome new members Richard Smith and Ryan Tanner.
