RAF Shawbury Gliding Club Life Membership

At their recent AGM Dave Catherwood was awarded RAF Shawbury Gliding Club Life Membership.  Dave has been a long-standing club member who commuted from Warrington to Cosford on every flying day, an hour's journey each way.  It was a journey he was prepared to make in order to enjoy his flying and the Wrekin Gliding Club community.  Whist he retired from flying some years ago he still keeps an active interest in the running of the club.  On the ground he is still the main contact for visitors and for BGA flights ensuring a seamless booking process.  In the air he is a keen radio ham and we know that he keeps track of our flying activities.

A great ambassador for the club and thanks Dave for all your hard work behind the scenes to keep the club running.
