Our flyers have enjoyed two great days in the French Alps.
Great weather and fantastic views have all added to the experience to make it a super start to the exped
TUESDAY
Launching in Discus R53 Norm joined a number of others on the Montange de Chabre, a popular location.
Launching later in the day in R22 and joining Norm…..
…. Alan and Connor enjoyed a great trip.
Well done Connor on completing your first mountain experience.
WEDNESDAY
From early morning it looked as if Wave had set up over the southern Alps.
By mid-day there were c50 aircraft flying in and around the local hills and with altitudes recorded as high as 18,500ft. At around miday R22 was at 11,000ft.
All the team got a trip today, Ian in R6, Alan (26), Alun (26) and Connor (R2)
On the morning launch, Norm got to 15,500ft in R2 and took some stunning views of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc
