Flying Report Sun 17 Dec 23

Another disappointing flying day where the winds contrived to thwart the best laid plans to get our young students flying.  An inversion and 10/10ths cloud made for a gloomy start, only enlivened by Colin the Carrot (brother of Aldi’s ®Kevin The Carrot)!  BTW, for the older lads who find it difficult to keep up to speed, there’s also ®William Conker, ®The Mischievous Kiwi, ®The Spoilt Little Sprout,…never mind!

Anyway, with the windsock mid-way between r’ways 18 and 23, and right on the limit, it proved a handful for the tuggy and we called it a day after just 2 launches.  Sorry to Chris, our newest MEF student, but at least we got you a trip

So it was back to H4 for some essential maintenanence and admin. This run of poor weather has to end sometime – we’ll get the Vicar on to it!
