Flying Report Sat 27 Apr 24

April went out with a bang, overcast, a biting northerly wind and rain always a threat.  With a number away in Sisteron it was, therefore, left to just a few hardy stalwarts who gathered on the airfield.  Many thanks to Geoff M for making it all happen and ensuring that everyone got a trip before rain stopped play at 13:30.

Whilst the rest of us set up the launch point, first away was Paul who got in some useful circuit, approach and landing training in KE with Geoff M

Highlight of the morning was flight in KE for young Oliver.  Dad had flown with us a couple of weeks ago and it was now Oliverā€™s turn.  Geoff took him on a 20 minute sortie on a planned route around the local area whilst the family waited on the ground.  Think we might see them againšŸ˜

For the rest there was just time, as we watched the approaching rain, to get in one flight each; just 12 flights in the session.  Still, the weather was no better in Sisteron and at least we got off the ground!
